McKellar: Doris G. (Smith) (nee Brittain), formerly of Bothwell, passed away peacefully at Meadow Park Nursing Home, Chatham on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at the age of 91.
Born in Euphemia Twp., daughter of the late James and Laura (Wilson) Brittain. Predeceased by her first husband Everett Smith (1979) and her late husband Charles McKellar (1994), Loving mother of Gloria Haggith (Late Harvey 2014) of Glencoe, Irene Lockyer (Earl) of Bothwell, Phyllis Meier (Bill) of Thamesville, Jim Smith (Nancy) of Chatham. Loving grandmother of 8 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by a daughter Bernice Rankin (2001), grandchildren Tammy Haggith (1969) and Chad Smith (2006), a great-grandchild Bailey, and 4 sisters and 4 brothers.
Family and friends will be received at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Thursday evening from 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday, August 5, 2016 at 11AM. Interment Mayhew-Mt.Pleasant Cemetery, Thamesville.
