Doom: Freddy age 72 of Dresden passed away Monday August 8, 2016 at Chatham Kent Health Alliance Public General Campus.
Born in Belgium son of Irma Doom and the late Albert Doom. Survived by his wife Rita (Vankoughnett) Doom of Dresden, daughter Debbie Doom (Alex McLellan) of Kingston, son David Doom (Wendy) of Chatham, step son Rob Cracknell of Chatham, five grandchildren: Sarah, Emma, Jacob, Olivia and Katelyn, sisters: Monica Badder (Gary) and Marlene Roberts both of Wallaceburg. Predeceased by his father Albert Doom, brother Roland Doom and step daughter Tina Cracknell.
Cremation has taken place at Resurrection Cemetery and Crematorium Sarnia. Visitation will take place at the Thomas L. DeBurger Funeral Home 620 Cross St. Dresden 7-9 p.m. Thursday. Private burial will take place at a later date. If desired memorial contributions to the Chatham Kent Hospice Foundation would be appreciated and may be left by cheque at the funeral home.
