This morning, police responded to a gas drive-off at the Pioneer Gas Bar on Richmond Street in Chatham.
Police officials say the man pumped $40 worth of gas and drove away without making any attempt to pay.
Through investigation, police learned that the vehicle he was driving was reported stolen in Windsor yesterday.
The vehicle is a blue 2003 Jeep Liberty and was last seen with Ontario license plates BYRA 164.
