Last night, an officer on general patrol in the Westcourt Boulevard area observed the woman running through the complex into an unlocked unit in an attempt to evade police.
Chatham-Kent police officials says the homeowner allowed police to enter his home and the woman was arrested on outstanding warrants for failing to comply.
The 22-year-old Wallaceburg woman was additionally charged for entering the man’s home.
She has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
