Corunna’s Derek Drouin is going for Olympic gold tonight in the men’s high jump competition at the Rio Olympics.
The 2015 world champion easily qualified for the finals on Sunday, clearing all four of his jumps at 2.17 metres, 2.22, 2.26 and 2.29.

The men’s high jump finals takes place at 7:30 p.m.
