Police and fire officials are investigating a house fire in Grande Pointe.
Police officials say on August 19th, 2016 Chatham-Kent Police, Fire and EMS responded to a house fire in the Grande Pointe region.
The residence was fully engulfed upon arrival and the home was completely destroyed.
Police were able to confirm the owner of the residence was safe as well as any others likely to be inside.
Cause of the fire is at this time unknown and damages are estimated at $200,000.
Police remained on scene until the property could be made safe.
