A Wallaceburg man is one step closer to claiming his lottery win of $100,000 from Instant Money Multiplier.

Officials with the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporatio (OLG) say as Thomas Park’s mother is an employee at an OLG retail location, his prize falls within OLG’s definition of an ‘Insider Win.’

OLG officials said earlier this week, this prize claim has completed the first step of a two-step ‘Insider Wins’ process, which is an independent investigation of the claim by a third-party working in partnership with OLG’s regulator, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).

To complete the prize claim, the prize will be held for a 30-day waiting period as part of OLG’s ‘Insider Wins’ process, in order for OLG to publicize the win.

If there are no additional claims on this prize, it will be paid to the claimant on September 29, 2016 based on this 30-day wait period.

If the pay date falls on a day that is not a business day, then the following business day shall be deemed to be the pay date.

The ticket was purchased at Taylor’s Convenience Store on Dufferin Avenue in Wallaceburg.
