Wallaceburg car dealership targeted by thieves

Police are investigating after a pair of thefts at a Wallaceburg car dealership.

Chatham-Kent police officials say sometime over the past weekend, unknown suspects attended Riverview Chevrolet Auto Dealership on Murray Street and damaged two vehicles on the lot.

The suspects damaged a blue 2010 Chev Silverado truck in an attempt to start it and stole the front license plate AN12 228.

Damage to the truck was estimated at $1500.

The suspects also stole a $700 drive shaft from a silver 2016 Chev Silverado truck.
