“We have $10, three item pizza going on which is what we started with back 10 years ago. We are going to do a little sale on our chicken. If you buy a bucket of chicken you get a another 10 pieces for $10. Just keeping with the $10 theme.”

Burnett said the deals run from Monday to Friday this week.

“Most of us have been working at Burns for 10 years, but there are a few staff that have been here for almost the whole time,” he said.

“We’ve added the accessibility ramp at the front and totally re-did the front of it. All new windows and doors and siding. The back room is open for overflow for the restaurant on weekends and for private parties. tT holds about 30 to 35 people. So that’s pretty new too.”

Burnett added: “Business has been good over the 10 years. It just keep going up, up, up.”

Burnett said they are happy to give back to the community as well.

“We are glad to be a part of the community and we always support the community itself,” he said.

“Dresden Minor Soccer and the Jr. Kings and other service clubs that we help out throughout the year. We donate food items and prizes and all that kind of stuff. We have over 20 staff on board that are full/time part from the community too, so that’s a little boost and they help support the community as well.”

In terms of their menu. they try to stay local.

“We use Maple City in Chatham for most of our baked goods, we use Roesch Meats for our eggs and black forest hams and we only use fresh chicken for our nine cut chicken,” he said.

“It is Canadian. We use what we can that is fresh and local that is doable.”
