Police investigating Bothwell bank robbery

Police are investigating after a bank robbery in Bothwell.

Chatham-Kent police officials say yesterday afternoon at 2:55 p.m. police responded to a robbery at the Bank of Montreal on Main Street in Bothwell.

A man entered the bank, concealing what appeared to be a firearm in his sleeve, and demanded money from the employees.

The man was given an undisclosed amount of money and fled the bank on foot westbound.

The man is described as white, approximately 6’2” tall, slim build, scruffy, wearing a navy blue Hollister hoodie, gray sweatpants, sunglasses, white running shoes and black and yellow motorcycle gloves.
