Transport rolls on the 402

A driver has been charged after a transport rolled on the 402 this morning.

OPP officials say on Friday October 21, the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was dispatched to a commercial motor vehicle collision on 402 Highway, Town of Plympton-Wyoming.

Just after 2:00 a.m., Lambton County OPP along with Lambton County Emergency Medical Service (EMS) and Plympton-Wyoming Fire Department responded to 402 Highway in the area of Oil Heritage Road regarding a tractor trailer that had left the highway and rolled over in the center median.

No injuries were reported as a result of the collision.

402 Highway westbound, in the area of the collision, was reduced to one lane for several hours while recovery crews removed the vehicle.

The driver of the tractor trailer was issued a Provincial Offences Notice and has been charged with Careless Driving.
