Theresa May Brooks, aged 77, died peacefully on November 5,2016 surrounded by her family after a brief struggle with cancer. Theresa was born May 21, 1939, the daughter of Desty Emery and Lil Campbell.
She was married 58 years to the love of her life, Morris James Brooks and a cherished mother to David Brooks, Lisa Rutkofske (Troy), Cherie DeBurger (Mike) and Troy Brooks. Beloved big sister to Rose Emery (Kenny Gilham), Bonnie Climie (Tom), Margaret Emery (Gerry Den Hartogh), Jackie Miller (Tom Lyttle), Charn Daniels (John Elliott) and Dela Horley (Randy). Wonderful sister -in- law to Shirley McGregor, Ken Brooks (Geraldine) and Kathy Martin. Phenomena nana to Adam, Matthew, Tabitha, Nicholas, Leo, Sam, Lisa, Meike and Aidan.
There was nothing more important to Theresa than her family. She loved each one of them with an immeasurable dedication and nothing put a smile on her face brighter or wider than her grandchildren. She brought smiles and comfort to whoever crossed her
path with her genuine caring and concern. Theresa was always ready to help and had a way of making you feel special and important.
