The future is bright for the Wallaceburg Tartans football program.
The Tartans squad capped off an undefeated season on Saturday, with a 28-13 win over the Blenheim Bobcats in the the LKSSAA 12-man ‘AA’ junior boys football championship.
Wallaceburg got four rushing TDs en-route to the victory, with two scores apiece from Nic Podlacha and Brodie Genyn.
Dylan Denys was good on 4 extra point attempts.
Wallaceburg was 6-0 in the regular season, before beating McGregor in the semi-final by way of a forfeit.
The senior Tartans team will host a SWOSSA game in Wallaceburg on November 26.
The Jr. Boys Football team finished an undefeated season winning the championship game on Saturday! The Sr. team will host SWOSSA Nov. 26th.
