It is Throwback Thursday once again!

Here is an old photograph of the old Wallaceburg Library. Any idea what year this is from? And where was it located?

Thanks to Dave Workman from the Village Hair Centre on Dufferin Ave in Wallaceburg for the photograph!

  1. After researching and using page as a source. http://www.uoguelph.ca/~lbruce/photos/Wallaceburg.htm

I have come to the conclusion the library in the photo is located where it is now. On James st. In 1907 till 1967 the Library looked like this.

In 1967 there was an addition added to the library. This would be the front we see now. But slip around back and you will see the original building.

I believe this photo was taken shortly after it was built in 1907 because you can see that the landscaping has not filled in yet.

This is just my humble opinion based on the information I was able to locate and my personal observation.
