A suspect from the Chatham-Kent Police Service’s ‘Most Wanted’ list was arrested in Wallaceburg on Wednesday.
On September 7, 2016 the woman was released from custody for the offences of possession of property obtained by a crime under $5000, resist arrest and escape lawful custody.
She was released pending a future court date.
On November 9, 2016 the woman failed to attend court and a warrant was issued for her arrest.
Yesterday, the woman attended the Wallaceburg Service Centre to sign in as per her release conditions.
At this time, she was arrested on the outstanding warrant.
The 19-year-old Wallaceburg woman has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
