Update: More details about exotic bird theft

The Chatham-Kent Police Service and Chatham-Kent Crime Stoppers are still looking for information after three exotic birds were stolen in Blenheim.

They have also released a description of all three birds.

Crime Stoppers officials say on Saturday December 3 unknown suspects cut locks off and entered a building used as an aviary on Front Line in Blenheim.

Once inside the thieves removed three exotic birds and their cages.

The stolen birds are:

– 10-year-old white male Umbrella Cockatoo,

– Red and green Redfront Macaw

– White and orange White Bellied Caique

“Each of these birds require specific care and the owners are very concerned for their safety and only wish the birds be returned,” Crime Stoppers officials said.

“Your anonymous tip with information about where these birds are or who may have taken could earn you a cash reward.”
