A total of 100 people participated in the 5th annual Jingle All The Way Run in Wallaceburg on Saturday morning.
Several tables of food were gathered and donated to the local food banks as well.
“The amount of food that was raised is amazing,” said Mark Childs, chair of the Defiance Running Club, who organizes the event.
“This is a great way to get into the Christmas spirit and we really enjoy this run, our fifth annual. We hope to keep doing what we do, those items will help make a lot of folks Christmas’ a lot better. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”
Childs also thanked Karen Eddleston, who took the lead in organizing the event once again.
