Teen girl grabbed in Wallaceburg

The Chatham-Kent Police Service are looking for the public’s help to identify a man in Wallaceburg, who allegedly grabbed a teenage girl.

Police officials say last night, just before 9 p.m. three teenage girls were walking southbound on Lorne Avenue near Elizabeth Street in Wallaceburg when they were approached by an unknown man walking northbound.

The man reached out and grabbed one of the girl’s arm, possibly trying to get the cell phone that was in her hand.

As she screamed, the man fled the area.

The young girl was not physically injured.

The man was described as being white, 19-20 years, 5’10” with a medium build.

He was last seen wearing a black coat/hoodie with a plaid pattern on the front and khaki pants.
