A suspect in in custody following a home invasion in Sarnia.
On January at approximately 3:30 a.m., the Sarnia Police Service responded to the 1100 Block of Overlea Crescent in regards to a home invasion involving weapons.
The initial investigation lead officers to the 300 block of Alexandra Street in Point Edward in coordination with the Ontario Provincial Police.
At approximately 8:20 p.m., members of the Sarnia Police Service attended at a residence in the 300 block of Alexandra Street in Point Edward and executed a search warrant.
A 30-year-old male suspect was located in the residence and arrested in relation to the home invasion on Overlea Crescent.
The male suspect has been charged with numerous Criminal Code offences and is being held awaiting a bail hearing.
