
Seth activated from IR
Wallaceburg’s Seth Griffith has been activated by the Florida Panthers from the Injured Reserve list.
The 24-year-old winger missed four games after suffering a concussion on January 4 against Winnipeg.
Panthers head coach Tom Rowe said Griffith will be inserted right back onto the top line with JaromÃr Jágr and Vincent Trocheck.

The injury-riddled Florida squad will host the New York Islanders tonight.
In 23 games this season, 20 with the Panthers, Griffith has no goals and 5 assists and is third on the team with a +6 rating.

Cardinals top Bobcats in senior boys hoops
Mark Mortier led the way with 20 points, as the Cardinals topped the Bobcats 48-37 in LKSSAA Tier Two senior boys basketball action.
Kaelin Hunt scored 9 points and Brady Adams added 8 for the Cardinals, who improved their record to 5-2, second in the division.
In junior boys hoops, Wallaceburg beat Ridgetown 45-36.
Tartans top Ridgetown in boys hockey
The Wallaceburg Tartans got four different goal scorers, enroute to a 4-3 win over Ridgetown in LKSSAA senior boys hockey action on Thursday.
Kyle Toulouse, Bryer Genyn, Matt Gorry and Austin Myers all scored for the Tartans.
Brady Johnston was the winning goaltender for Wallaceburg.
This was the teams first win of the season, as they now own a 1-2-0 record.
They are tied with UCC and Ridgetown for second in the South Division.
Tartans go 1-1-2 in girls volleyball
The Wallaceburg Tartans finished with a 1-1-2 record on Thursday in senior girls volleyball play.
