The Chatham-Kent Police Service is looking for the public’s help to identify a suspect.

Police officials say last night at approximately 6:30 p.m. a man entered the Mac’s Milk on McNaughton Avenue in Chatham and intentionally cut open a bag of milk.

The man then told the store clerk that the bag of milk had spilled all over him in an attempt to distract the clerk.

When the store clerk attended the dairy section, the man stole two lottery tickets valued at $60.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Constable Fraser Leontowicz at fraserl@chatham-kent.ca or 519-436-6600 extension #87148.

Anonymous callers may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) and may be eligible for a cash reward.
