The Sarnia Police have released the identity of the victim after a fatal crash on Friday.
Police officials say on January 20, 2017, at approximately 12:43 pm, the Sarnia Police Service responded to a collision in the area of Churchill Line west of Mandaumin Road.
A Honda Civic came into collision with a transport truck. The driver of the transport, a 45 year old man, from Nobleton, Ontario, was transported to hospital with minor injuries and released.
The 33 year old female, Danielle Mezzatesta of Petrolia, Ontario, was the driver of the Honda Civic and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Currently, members of the Sarnia Police Service Traffic Branch and Criminal Investigation Branch are investigating the incident.
