A Wallaceburg man faces several charges after being pulled over on Wednesday.
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials say a member of the Traffic Unit observed a motor vehicle travelling eastbound on Base Line at a high rate of speed yesterday afternoon.
The officer recorded the man driving 106km/h in an 80km/h zone.
A traffic stop was initiated and through investigation the officer learned the man was also a suspended driver due to unpaid fines.
The 43-year-old Wallaceburg man was charged with speeding and driving while under suspension.
His vehicle was towed from the roadway.
He will be required to attend court on February 15, 2017.
