Investigation continues after B&E and theft in Wallaceburg

Police are investigating a break and enter and theft in Wallaceburg.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials say yesterday morning police responded to a break and enter complaint at an address on John Park Line in Wallaceburg.

It was determined that two implement sheds had been entered sometime between Saturday, January 28 at 10:30 p.m. and Sunday, January 29, at 9:30 a.m.

Unknown suspects entered the sheds by cutting the pad locks.

Once inside, they removed a black garden trailer and a 2005 Green Honda RINCON ATV.

Total value of stolen items is $2,700.

They caused damage to a sensor light, a trail cam and a few pad locks.

Total damage is estimated at $350.

This incident remains under investigation.
