Periods of snow starting Monday night

Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement, as periods of snow will begin near midnight tonight and come to an end Tuesday evening.

Snowfall accumulations of 5 centimetres are expected by Tuesday morning, with additional accumulations around 2 centimetres during the day.

Higher snowfall amounts of up to 10 centimeters are possible near the shore of Lake Erie.

Untreated roads may become snow covered and slippery overnight into Tuesday morning.

Use extra caution while driving and allow additional time to get to your destination.
