The Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with the Warwick Fire Department, Plympton-Wyoming Fire Department, Brooke-Alvinston Fire Department and Lambton County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) are currently at the scene of a large barn fire on Confederation Line in th Town of Plympton-Wyoming.
OPP officials say on Tuesday January 31, at just before 9 a.m., the Lambton County OPP was dispatched to an address in the 5200 block of Confederation Line regarding a structure fire.
Upon arrival, police observed a large livestock barn already completed engulfed by fire.
Several fire departments are currently on scene and will remain on scene for several more hours.
Confederation Line between Stewardson Road and Leyton Road is presently closed and will remain closed until further advised.
The Ontario Fire Marshalls Office (OFM) is being contacted in relation to this fire.
