Rave reviews for ‘Snow White’

Chatham based Voices In The Wind Audio Theatre’s production of Snow White continues to receive rave reviews including the current one from AudioFile Magazine which is the major publication for the audio spoken word industry in the United States.

“To receive such a positive review in the premier audio spoken word publication is quite an honour and shows that our productions are top notch,” stated David Farquhar, the producer who is formerly from Wallaceburg.

“Snow White has also received a Five Star Review from Audio Drama Reviews as well as from numerous online websites.”

“Diane Vanden Hoven from London, Ontario did an excellent job of adapting the Grimm Brothers timeless Classic to audio. Laura Van Veen was the director.”

The cast members include Georgia Lee Schultz as Snow White, Mary Ellen Herder as the Evil Queen, Michael Dick as Albrecht the Owl / Narrator, Keith Burnett as King Kaspar, Noelle Dupuis as Queen Rosalinde, Brady Van Vaerenbergh as Ragnar the Raven, Jan Walker-Holt as the Magic Mirror, Aislyn King as Deidre the Dove, James Hebblethwaite as Udo the Huntsman, Oliver Georgiou as the Prince and Keith Burnett, Bill Tye and David Farquhar as the Dwarfs.

UCC’s Musical Theatre Company is proud to announce The Wizard of Oz as its featured showcase this April. This year marks their first ever repeat performance, as The Wizard of Oz was first performed in 1996. The group is looking for sponsors as well. Harry Potter Marathon in Chatham

Harry Potter fans rejoice! The Chatham Branch of CKPL is hosting a special Harry Potter Mini Movie Marathon and Trivia Night on Thursday, March 23. In celebration of their love of all things Potter, the CKPL will be playing the first three Harry Potter movies back-to-back and will cap off their celebration with a special Harry Potter themed trivia game. Unleash your inner Hermione for your chance to win a Harry Potter themed prize. All interested Muggles can bring their own snacks to enjoy during the films.

12:30 pm – Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

3:30 pm – Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
