Approximately 1,622 customers were affected by the power outage early this morning in Wallaceburg, Entegrus officials said.
A broken pole caused some primary wires to come down around 12:57 a.m. resulting in the outage.
“Repairs were made, and power was restored to customers by 6:53 a.m. this morning,” officials with the electric utility company stated.
“We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.”
Cable and Internet service for Cogeco was knocked out overnight as well.
Cogeco officials said due to a power outage on their equipment, service disruptions may have been experienced.
