A crash on the 401 between two transports shut down the highway temporarily this morning.
On March 15, 2017 around 7:30 a.m., Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a motor vehicle collision involving two commercial motor vehicles on Highway 401 near Harwich Road.
An eastbound tractor trailer lost control, crossed through the centre median and came to rest in the westbound passing lane.
To avoid a collision, a westbound tractor trailer, which was in the passing lane, entered the centre median.
There were no injuries reported.
Highway 401 was temporarily shut down to allow for removal of the eastbound tractor trailer.
