“I am motivated to run for councillor in ward 5 Wallaceburg because we need better representation and people that will follow through on what they promise. We need our services not to be cut or so underfunded they become useless. The default position in the smaller communities should not be just go to Chatham. Not everybody has access to just go to Chatham and that can create a hardship for some people or they miss out on services that are not available in the smaller communities. I want to represent Wallaceburg and keep it strong and growing.”
“A few issues that are big in my area are property taxes, people without homes or high cost of living which can lead to crime. I want to see our tax dollars being used in the best possible way and not wasted on vanity projects. Our roads and bridges need to fixed in a timely manner and not suffer months of delays or told the funding is not there. When people see their tax dollars used to boost Chatham but neglect their area they get frustrated and need to know somebody is held accountable and will stand up for them.”
