Charges have been laid after a transport lost control and flipped on the 401.
Chatham-Kent OPP officials say on March 16, 2017 around 4:30 a.m., Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a motor vehicle collision on Highway 401 near Communication Road.
Investigation revealed a westbound tractor trailer lost control, flipped on its side and skidded approximately 500 metres across the westbound lanes before coming to rest in the centre median.
There were no injuries reported.
As a result, the 34-year-old male driver was charged with careless driving, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act..
