Childs: Mildred a resident of R.R. 2 Tupperville passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Wallaceburg at the age of 93.
Born in Sombra Township, daughter of the late William and Jessie (Annett) Krohn. Beloved wife of the late Ernest Childs (2006). Loving mom of Barbara & Wayne Chapple, Sharron & Gordon Elgie, Dean & Heather Childs, Francis & Tracey Childs all of Dresden and Calvin & Kim Childs of Whitby. Sadly missed by 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Alma & Gordon McBrayne, Ronald Babcock and Joyce Krohn. Predeceased by brothers Ronald Krohn and Lyle Krohn, sister Phyllis Babcock and sister-in-law Winnifred Krohn and granddaughter Tanya Chapple.
The Childs family will receive friends at the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre 679 North St., Dresden on Thursday from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held from the funeral home on Friday, March 31, 2017 at 1 p.m. Interment in Dresden Cemetery.
