Official plan, consent and zoning changes recommended for Baldoon

The former Baldoon Golf Course outside of Wallaceburg is set to be discussed in front of Chatham-Kent council this evening.

Official plan, consent and zoning by-law amendments are being recommended by Chatham-Kent planning staff for the property.

The golf course has been closed since 2014 and was sold to the current owners in 2016.

A notice from the Municipality of Chatham-Kent about the meeting also went out to neighbouring landowners last month.

Jeff Wesley told the Sydenham Current.

The removal of the all-way stop had been scheduled to take place today, Friday, May 12.
