A Wallaceburg man faces impaired driving charges following a crash on Friday night.
Chatham-Kent police officials say that on Friday night, shortly after 11 p.m. officers responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Fraser Road near Base Line.
Police allege that through investigation, the officer believed that the man was driving his vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and he was arrested.
The man was transported to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance for medical attention where he also provided breath tests.
The 38-year-old Wallaceburg man has been charged with impaired driving.
He was released from police custody pending a future court date of May 30, 2017.
