A Dresden man faces charges after an alleged assault on Sunday.
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials say yesterday around 12:30 p.m. officers responded to a residence in Dresden due to a complaint of an assault.
Through investigation, police officials allege that a man had punched a man, who is known to him, and then left the area.
Minor injuries were reported.
At 4 p.m. a 51-year-old Dresden man was located, arrested and charged with assault.
He was transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters where he was later released with a court date of Tuesday, May 30, 2017.
