Crash results in $40,000 damage in Chatham

A woman was sent to hospital, following a crash in Chatham on Canada Day.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials say on July 1st at approximately 5:50 p.m., officers responded to a motor vehicle collision involving two vehicles in the area of Sandys Street and McNaughton Ave., in Chatham.

Police say one female occupant was taken to Chatham-Kent Health Alliance by ambulance for precaution.

Damage is estimated at $40,000.
