Gator stolen from Canada Day festivities in Chatham

Police are investigating after a Gator was stolen from the Canada Day festivities in downtown Chatham on the weekend.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials say sometime between Sunday, July 2, at 9 p.m. and Monday, July 3 at 9 a.m. a John Deere Gator, valued at approximately $16,000, was stolen from Tecumseh Park located at 50 William Street N. in Chatham.

This John Deere Gator was on loan to the Canada Day 150 Committee from McGrail Farm Equipment to use during the Canada Day event held within Tecumseh Park.
