Teen charged for trafficking cocaine

A teenager has been charged with drug trafficking in Chatham-Kent, after allegedly being caught with a significant amount of cocaine.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials say on Sunday August 6 officers located a 15-year-old Chatham youth who was wanted on an outstanding warrant for breaching the conditions of his release.

Through investigation police also determined that he was in possession of a significant quantity of cash and suspected cocaine.

The youth has been charged with breaching the conditions of his release and possession for the purpose of trafficking.

He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
