The Lambton-Kent Cardinals raised $558.35 for cancer research at their annual Lady Cardinal Alumni Basketball Game earlier this month.
The donation was made recently to the Chatham branch of the Canadian Cancer Society to go towards breast cancer research specifically.
The game itself featured the current senior girls’ basketball team from LKCS playing former players in an entertaining homecoming contest in Dresden.
Admission was ‘pay what you can.’
100% of the proceeds went towards the Cancer Society.
