The Wallaceburg Lakers made a roster move on Wednesday, acquiring veteran forward Austin Bentley from the Blenheim Blades in a trade.
In eight games with Blenheim this season, the 20-year-old has 2 goals and 3 assists for 5 points, plus 42 penalty minutes.
Bentley was in the lineup for Wallaceburg on Wednesday night, November 1, when they hosted the Wheatley Sharks.
The Lakers jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead in the first period, before the Sharks started chipping away.
Wheatley ended up tying the game at 3-3 in the second period, before Jake Vancoillie scored to make it 4-3 for the home squad.
However, that would end up being the last goal scored by Wallaceburg, as the Sharks rallied to a 6-4 win.
Along with Vancoillie, Cody Nicolaisen, Stone Jacobs and KJ Fontenot also scored for Wallaceburg.
Bentley picked up 1 assist in his Lakers debut.
Wallaceburg has now lost 11 straight games, and own a 1-13-0-0 record, last in the West Stobbs Division of the Provincial Junior Hockey League.
The Lakers will be in Essex on Tuesday, before hosting the Dresden Kings on Wednesday.
