Police looking to ID alleged shoplifter

The Chatham-Kent Police Service are looking to identify a theft suspect in Chatham.

Police officials say yesterday at 11:30 a.m. an officer responded to a theft complaint at the Shoppers Drug Mart located on Grand Avenue W. in Chatham.

An unknown woman was captured on video surveillance selecting numerous items and then exiting the store allegedly making no attempt to pay for the merchandise.

Police say the value of the stolen items is unknown at this time.

Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the unknown woman.
