Charges have been laid after two separate drugs busts in Chatham this week.
Police officials say yesterday, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Intelligence Section, with the assistance of the Critical Incident Response Team, executed a Controlled Drugs and Substance Act search warrant in Chatham.
Cocaine and methamphetamine was located and seized for analysis, police allege.
A 31-year-old Chatham man was arrested and charged with two counts of drug possession.
He was released pending a future court date of March 29, 2018.
In a separate incident on Monday, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Intelligence Section, with the assistance of the Critical Incident Response Team, executed a Controlled Drugs and Substance Act search warrant in Chatham.
Approximately $9,000 worth of cocaine, methamphetamine and morphine was located and seized for analysis, police allege.
A large amount of cash and a taser was also seized.
A 38-year-old Chatham woman was arrested and charged with possession of a prohibited weapon and three counts of drug possession for the purposes of trafficking.
She was released pending a future court date of April 5, 2018.
