The Municipality of Chatham-Kent, Mayor Randy Hope and council are taking this opportunity to acknowledge the achievements of local seniors with the 31st Annual Senior Achievement Awards.
The purpose of this award is to recognize and honour older adults Age 60+ that have achieved significant goals and made outstanding contributions as volunteers in the community.
Nominations can be made by any person or organization wishing to recognize Chatham-Kent seniors.
Mayor Randy Hope endorses an impartial selection committee that selects the Chatham-Kent Senior of the Year.
Nomination forms will be available at all Chatham-Kent Municipal Centres, (Chatham, Blenheim, Dresden, Ridgetown, Tilbury and Wallaceburg), all Chatham-Kent public libraries and all 11 Seniors’ Centres within the municipality.
Deadline for receipt of Nomination Forms is Friday, May 18.
