Chainsaws, weed trimmer, fishing pole, ATV stolen

Police are investigating a pair of thefts, one in Thamesville and another on Baldoon Road.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege sometime Sunday between midnight and 5 a.m. unknown suspects entered an unlocked shed on Sherman Street in Thamesville and stole three STIHL chainsaws, a STIHL weed trimmer and 10 foot fishing pole.

Total value of the theft has been estimated at $3500.

Police allege sometime on Sunday between midnight and 5 a.m. unknown suspects entered an insecure barn on Baldoon Road and stole a white 2006 Suzuki LTZ 400 ATV.

The vehicle was last seen bearing Ontario license plate 7FA11 and is valued at $2,500.
