Seth Griffith signs with Winnipeg Jets

Wallaceburg’s Seth Griffith will be joining the 5th NHL team of his young professional career.

The 25-year-old forward signed a one-year, two-way contract worth $650,000 at the NHL level.

He played in 21 games for the Buffalo Sabres last season where he had 3 points, 2 goals and 1 assist.

He also played in 46 games for the AHL’s Rochester Americans, posting 41 points, 15 goals and 26 assists.

Griffith has 19 points, 8 goals and 11 assists, in 79 career NHL games for Buffalo, Florida, Toronto, and Boston.

If Griffith doesn’t crack the Jets roster out of training camp, he would join the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League.
