2nd 3Rivers Roll of the summer is tonight

Join Community Living Wallaceburg this Wednesday, July 18 at 6 p.m. at the Oaks Retirement Village for a donation barbecue (pulled pork on a bun) followed by the second Bike Party of the Summer at 7 p.m.

3Rivers Roll is an hour long (13 km) bicycle route through Wallaceburg with a slow, relaxed pace.

It’s not a race, it’s a slow roll through various neighborhoods of Wallaceburg.

All bicycles, all ages, all abilities are welcome – bring your own music, decorate your bike and join in the fun.

Funds raised over the course of the summer will be directed towards the purchase of a wheelchair bicycle, to enable more people to participate in the event.

Neighbourhood Watch meeting tonight in Wallaceburg

A meeting is scheduled for tonight (July 18) to discuss the possibility of launching a Neighbourhood Watch group in Wallaceburg.

Special Const. Randi Hull, from the Chatham-Kent Police Service, is set to speak and provide a presentation to the group.

The meeting will be held in the upstairs boardroom of the Wallaceburg Municipal building at 7 p.m.

The entrance will be in the back of the building, which is fully accessible and near the elevator to the second floor.

The meeting is open to the public and all are welcome.
