Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege yesterday around 10:24 a.m., emergency crews responded to a single vehicle collision on Talbot Trail and Stevenson Road in Romney Twp.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the motorcycle was traveling westbound on Talbot Trail, when it lost control and left the roadway.
A 71-year-old Melbourne man suffered life-threatening injuries.
The Traffic Unit has taken over the investigation.
