To date, 41 have been filled so far and 524 are left to go.

“For the last 136 years, The Salvation Army has helped thousands of families in Chatham-Kent because friends of the Army cared about families in need,” Salvation Army officials said.

“They took time out of their busy Christmas schedules to ‘stand by me’ at a Christmas Kettle location. There are several locations throughout Chatham-Kent.”

In Chatham, there are 1,156 shifts to fill, 432 have been filled so far and 724 are left to go.
