‘Ken Houston’ arena being unveiled in Dresden

The community of Dresden will be celebrating the unveiling of the new name for the Lambton-Kent Memorial Agricultural Centre to the “Ken Houston Memorial Agricultural Centre on Saturday, December 15.

The entertainment will feature live band, Toast & Jam.

A silent and live auction and raffle will be held.

The event is also featuring Sons of Kent’s ‘Doc’s Lager’ Hometown Beer, which is exclusive for this event and available for a short time during Rogers Hometown Hockey celebrations December 14, 15 & 16.

Tickets are $75 per person
Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
Dinner at 7 p.m.
Silent & live auction including sports memorabilia

People in attendance will have the opportunity to meet NHL alumni that played with ‘Doc’.

They will also be sharing stories and signing autographs.

Proceeds will benefit the Ken Houston Memorial Scholarship Fund and local charities.

This event is part of the Rogers Hometown Hockey Event celebrating local NHL hero, Ken Houston, who died in March of this year.

Home James CK will be available after the event to ensure everyone & their vehicle arrive home safely (by donation).

The day before the dinner and dance, John Weese will be speaking following the Dresden Kings game.
