Letter: With sincere thanks

Susan Persyn (Submitted photo)

We wish to acknowledge with deep appreciation the many expressions of love, kindness, thoughtfulness and support shown to us during the last few weeks following the passing of Susan Persyn.

First and foremost, we would like to thank the Wallaceburg Fire Department, Emergency Response Team, Chatham Kent Police Department, Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home staff, Dr. Emer Dudley and Coroner Robert Hislop for their compassion and level of professionalism during our darkest hour.

We would also like to thank the community, including our closest friends and neighbours, for their generosity, words of encouragement, hot homemade meals, gorgeous flower arrangements and endless support in our time of desperation.

I will be forever grateful that Sue and I raised our children to be so close, and this is what will get us through – along with our massive support system – to lean on each other through difficult times.

Sue would have been absolutely astonished by the amount of people she impacted, and we will do our best to let
that light shine through us and onto you.

Always be kind, and remember to pay it
forward.

Sincerely,

John Persyn & family
